This week we’ve seen some bullish momentum return to the market, with Bitcoin performing fairly well. Altcoins have been somewhat less impressive overall, and this was reflected in the recent uptick in Bitcoin dominance.
Looking at the traditional markets, we can see that many top indexes bounced back on Monday from the worrying and steep dip that took place last week, although the end of the week has seen more fear due to a new spike in US 10-year treasury bond yields.
With the $1.9 trillion stimulus package approved in the US, we’re likely to see more money flowing into stocks and crypto. It remains to be seen how many retail investors will spend their stimulus checks on investments (and surveys indicate that this will be a relatively large number), but it’s certain that inflation fears will play an important part in shaping investors’ decisions over the coming weeks and months. Of course, this could be very bullish for Bitcoin, with more institutions getting exposure as an inflation hedge.
Regarding development here at NewsCrypto, the most important thing to mention is the Crypto 101 webinar which we’ll be hosting on March 23rd at 2 PM CET. The webinar will be completely free, and attendees will be able to learn all they need to know in order to make their first steps into the world of crypto.
The webinar will consist of lectures with a Q&A session and a fireside chat with several prominent crypto traders. The main focus will be on how to start trading crypto, so it will cover all the basics on how and where to buy and trade, and we’ll also give some practical tips on how to avoid scams and other attacks. Since every successful crypto investor should also understand what crypto is on a technological level, the second lecture will present a concise explanation of what different blockchains are and how they work, as well as an overview of some recent developments, especially in decentralized finance (DeFi).
Apart from the webinar, we’re also working on the new version of our app, and we’ll soon announce some new integrations and partnerships with well-known projects that will help us make the app even better.
I hope you had a good week and I wish you the best of luck in this market environment we’re in!
